Mission
The mission of the University of Minnesota’s Licensure and Leadership Development Program is to prepare individuals to successfully fulfill all of the requirements of the State of Minnesota, the Minnesota Board of School Administrators, and the University of Minnesota for licensing as school superintendents, K-12 principals, directors of special education, and directors of community education.  The University of Minnesota is a land-grant university and is dedicated to providing for the educational needs of all of the citizens of Minnesota.  To this end the licensure program welcomes both the traditional and alternative licensure candidates and strives to be inclusive of all diversity.

To create a new page:

 

·         Select the Home link under the Content Tools tab

·         Click Add Subsection

·         Enter the subsection title (ex: Mission), select type as Internal and click Finished

·       (Optional)  To change the security for a page, click the Configure Section link and select Private under section access.  Click the Finished button. 

To access this page, viewers will be required to enter a user name and password.

 

Note: To establish a user, go to the Security tab, select Users, Add New Item, enter a user name and password, and only check the Super User box if you want this individual to have full administrative access to your site.  After you click the Finished button, turn the user profile On, click the Permissions button, and select the checkboxes of each section that the user needs to view, modify or publish.  The view column will only display a checkbox option for pages that have been designated as private.
